A: The Marbella Painting Company is operated by Orchid Development Solutions - providing painting and decorating services in Marbella and many areas of the Costa del Sol in the south of Spain for over 15 years.

A: We only use premium quality paints for all our projects using washable mat emulsion for interior work unless specified differently. Exterior projects are very different for which we use a highly durable elastic exterior coating which contains resin to combat the intense Spanish sunshine. We can mix to order any colour providing you can supply a suitable sample.

A: It is possible to provide estimates without seeing a property if clients can provide measurements and photographs. However, we prefer to provide clients with a comprehensive quotation as often estimates are misleading. Also, every job differs dependent on repairs and preparation so as a rule we prefer to meet with our customers to see the job first hand and discuss requirements before prices.

A: We are pleased to provide a no-comittment quotation for your painting project in Marbella or in areas nearby absolutely free. In many cases, if the job is simple, you can simply send through photos of the work required by email or WhatsApp and we will be able to give you a rough price over the phone.

A: For general painting walls and ceilings inside and out we apply all our coatings using professional rollers. This also plus to most woodwork using specialist rollers for synthetic paints that offer a high-quality finish second only to a factory sprayed finish. We provide a service where we remove doors and furniture and take it to the workshop to give a high-quality spray finish if required.

A: We have more than fifteen years’ experience of Spanish properties and their related problems. Most often we can identify the cause of damp problems and a solution. However, properties in Spain are built from concrete, sand and cement which is a porous material that soaks up water like a sponge, many older properties here did not have the benefit of modern building techniques and quite often effective solutions can be costly.

A: Wood is one of the most natural and beautiful products to be used in construction but also extremely high maintenance when used on the exterior of houses. We provide an extensive wood restoration service removing all old varnish and paint back to the bare wood. Then we apply several coats of new colour often it us better to go slightly darker than previously to get an even rich colour, next we apply up to eight coats of varnish depending on exposure of the wood to get a deep quality finish to your woodwork.
